Introduction. The development of cognitive skills occurs in an environment that encourages curiosity, questioning and exploration; thus, educators must generate strategies that stimulate it, which is why this study was conducted. Quantitative approach, practical, field, and transversal purpose, and descriptive scope. The technique used was the survey and as an instrument a questionnaire was applied to 64 students who made up the sample. Results. The results indicate a central tendency in the development of cognitive skills among students, locating the highest average in the memory dimension with 56.25% in the never alternative; in the dimensions: attention, reasoning, creativity, this tendency was also revealed; placing them in the inadequate level. A teaching strategy was designed based on the use of an online chess platform for the development of cognitive skills. Conclusion. Victimization and perpetration of teen dating violence: a systematic review

Introduction. Teen Dating Violence (TDV) is a type of intimate partner violence with serious personal and family consequences. Objective. This study describes the prevalence of TDV victimization and perpetration (physical, sexual, psychological, and cyber), considering region, gender, and instruments. Methodology. A systematic review was conducted with PRISMA, using keywords and Boolean operators. Results. As a result, 12 studies were selected. South America presented the highest rate of psychological victimization (97.56%), physical perpetration (37.6%) and sexual perpetration (30.8%); Europe registered the highest rate of cyber victimization (72.6%). The female gender presented higher sexual victimization (12.3% and 52.5%), psychological victimization (1.5% to 64%) and cyber perpetration (53.2% and 56%); the male gender presented higher sexual perpetration (1.9% and 51.2%). The CADRI was used as a measurement instrument to assess TDV in 8 of the 12 selected studies. Conclusion. In conclusion, the results revealed great variability in prevalence rates by region, bidirectionality of TDV for both male and female genders, and the need to standardize instruments for future TDV research. General Area of Study: Psychology. Specific area of study: Teen Dating Violence. Type of study: Bibliography Review.

Traditional Salasaka clothing: symbol of cultural resistance or reflection of transculturation?

Introduction: The transformations that Salasaka traditional clothing exhibits today constitute an object of analysis from different theoretical perspectives that highlight it as a form of resistance and cultural identity. Other analysts defend the idea of transculturation. From a sociological and ethnographic position, this research is conducted, which aims to offer a particular view that integrates both visions. Objectives: The study is oriented towards a) Identifying the main symbolic elements of Salasaka clothing and their meaning within the community and b) Examining recent changes in the use of traditional clothing and the factors that have influenced its transformation. Methodology: A non-experimental, descriptive research project was conducted using a qualitative approach. In-depth, unstructured interviews were conducted with four community representatives and leaders. Participatory observation and visual analysis of traditional attire were also used. Results: The Salasaka traditional clothing constitutes an identity expression of the community, it includes its own symbols and traditions while maintaining immobile customs associated with its preparation and elaboration. The transformations regarding the decrease in its use and the pieces that comprise it are associated with a process of transculturation. Conclusions: Traditional Salasaka clothing is an expression of transculturation that incorporates modern trends without denying original traditions and beliefs. General study area: Communication. Specific study area: Communication and Culture. Type of item: original.
